2. Heat rises in the atmosphere.
3. Conductors control the passage of energy, but insulators contain the energy.
4. Copper is a strong conductor. It passes electricity very easily. I know from experience that copper will carry a spark from a lighter to my hand.
5. A tent is very helpful in containing heat, insulation, when you are on a cold campout. I think fire is a bigger necessity than a tent though because it produces heat, radiation. This doesn't have to do much with science but a fire also produces light and means to make food.
