1. Energy creates warmth. So if something is warm or hot, then it is full of atoms that are wild and bouncing around. If something is cold, it doesn't produce much energy. Therefor, the atoms in that object will be calm and won't be bouncing everywhere.
2. The atoms in ice-cream are cold and not hyper, so the don't change form. When the heat in the atmosphere affects the ice-cream, the atoms start to get hyper and the ice-cream melts.
3. Vibration can be a form of energy. When a phone vibrates it uses power to generate the vibration. So if a particle melts at a certain point, and there are vibrating particles, there is also energy which creates heat and melts the particles. (run on sentence)
4. Condensation occurs when energy fights non energy. For example, if a cold cup of water is left sitting on the counter, the heat in the atmosphere will cause the water to warm, just like with the ice-cream. So when the water begins to heat, it rises but stays on the cup, condensation.
5. Sublimation is the change from a gas to a solid, or vice versa. It is caused when a certain amount of pressure combines with a certain temperature.
